Crossroads Tigers Youth Athletics (CTYA) stands as a dedicated non-profit organization rooted in the San Fernando Valley, wholly devoted to cultivating the potential of our young generation through sports and the invaluable virtues it instills. Our purpose transcends mere athletics; we are sculpting the forthcoming leaders of our community.
From our esteemed board of directors to our tireless coaching cadre and in collaboration with the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles School Police Department, we are resolute in furnishing a secure haven for local youth. Within this nurturing sanctuary, they not only acquire vital life skills but also revel in the joy of learning.
Central to our mission is the inculcation of fundamental values - hard work, teamwork, leadership, and communal support. These tenets are the bedrock upon which self-enhancement and personal maturation thrive. Our zealous staff continuously fuels community involvement and outreach, radiating boundless positivity.
Supported wholeheartedly by the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles School Police Department, and the wider community, Crossroads has flourished across disciplines such as Football, Boxing, and Cheerleading. As we expand our horizons, our aspiration is to encompass a spectrum of sporting activities, enriching options and prospects for our youth and their families.
Yet, Crossroads Tigers Youth Athletics (C.T.Y.A) extends beyond its athletic façade. We extend our helping hand to local families, providing invaluable support. Sport serves as a potent conduit through which we connect with the youth of our community, laying the cornerstone for a robust future.
Our vision extends to fostering a strong, enduring partnership with the LAPD and LASPD, reshaping the trajectories of inner-city youth through athletic pursuits and community initiatives. The synergy of our collaboration allows us to amplify our backing for youth, families, and the larger community. In the immediate future, we aspire to initiate an array of youth programs encompassing computer literacy, a reading club, tutoring, music, painting, and counseling. Though acknowledging the intricate nature of this endeavor, our commitment to this cause remains unwavering.
In the collective pursuit of our mission and vision, Crossroads, alongside the LAPD and LASPD, is keenly aware that the endorsement of community leaders will pave the way for our aspirations to metamorphose into tangible reality.
With utmost sincerity,
Jose Fuentes Founder and President of CTYA
Greetings, esteemed Tiger family,
As we embark upon a fresh season of Football under the banner of the Crossroads Football Organization, we extend a warm welcome. The reverberations of the global pandemic and the ensuing recovery have touched us all, yet here we stand, resilient and unwavering. Rest assured, dear families, players, and supporters, that Crossroads Tiger Youth Athletics remains steadfast in its pursuit.
We stand poised and prepared to cater to players of all statures, ages, and divisions, embracing diversity and inclusivity. Our focus remains steadfastly on our Tiger family and the wider community we cherish.
At this juncture, we have chosen to withhold the finer particulars of our anticipated fees and fundraisers. This strategic decision allows us to direct our energies toward the well-being of our cherished Tiger players within the sanctity of their homes. The process of player registration and contract distribution shall commence via email, effective June 2023. We kindly request that you regard these contracts as expressions of commitment to our team, coaches, and fellow players. A comprehensive disclosure of all relevant information shall be disseminated to parents when circumstances permit. This green light hinges on the guidance provided by our league, GCYFL (Gold Coast Youth Football League), operating in harmony with local governmental directives and restrictions. A contingency blueprint is in place, allowing for potential season adjustments if the need arises. As the situation remains dynamic, rest assured that we shall keep you informed as new information unfurls.
Our dedication to inculcating virtues such as confidence, character, self-esteem, honesty, loyalty, humility, integrity, work ethic, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, respect, leadership, and commitment remains resolute. We firmly believe that these values are pivotal to the holistic development of our children. Moreover, we are steadfast in our commitment to furnish our youth with the indispensable tools essential for triumph in their future endeavors. It is within the confines of the current circumstances that we shall continue to nurture these principles.
A united front, an unbreakable spirit, and an eagerness for yet another year of football and revelry define us. As we eagerly await the moment when we can reunite on the field, remember to safeguard yourselves and each other.
Should inquiries or concerns arise, please do not hesitate to reach out to Crossroads Tigers Youth Athletics through our dedicated email: CrossroadsTigersya@gmail.com or by means of our social media platforms.
In unity and anticipation.
